Okay, so here is a lil' comic I whupped up recently. I have been working on a web-series that lives on YouTube called, "With Uncle Pappy" if you are interested in it you can fine a link to it from my website [link] , anyway, this comic is an exploration of the Uncle Pappy character as a kid. There will be more to follow...eventually.

I have but a free account, so consider this a cheapo-critique:
I really like the way you draw. I think one thing that could be improved is the way in which the text is presented. I find that the sheer amount of texture and detail in each panel results in a very tight fit- that is, everything in each panel is very squished together. Consequently, when I go to read the dialogue, I have to try extra hard to read the text because it tends to blend into everything else- not because it is boring, it just kinda gets lost in all the lines and shades that make up the artwork. So what I'm getting at is that maybe you could present the dialogue of the comic in a manner that is in sharp contrast to the way you present your drawings, the idea being that the words can easily stand out and be rapidly consumed along with the art. Hopefully this makes sense.
