A little comic I made up, experimenting with photo manipulation. I hope you folks dig it.

I can't afford the critique feature, so here is my take on it:
-The art strikes me as graphic novel / "nior"-like, using actual photos as the illustration. It reminds me of the graphic novel scenes in the video game "Max Payne"
-In the second and the last panel, I see what appears to be a ghost. This initially makes me think there are three characters, but as I read it more I conclude that the ghost is one of the deceased two. The existence of two characters is made apparent in panel 3.
-The message of the comic is not completely clear to me; but what do I understand is a dead child reflects on the events leading up to his death. The child is articulate for his age, speaking as an adult. A morbose concept overall, though unique.
Maybe it's just me, but if the same story were illustrated, it would look totally different and impact in the different way. Things involving photos seems to bring the mind out of imagination-mode and more into real-people mode, when it comes to interpreting things. The brain reacts differently. If that makes any sense.
